walking along on Southbank is very nice , cafe & shops seam to never end as walked down we turned left, there she was, the Eureka Tower, the worlds tallest residential tower, 92 storeys, We made our way to the foyer. trying to avoid the Christians (yes, world youth day was happening) they were everywhere, (times like these you need a Roman Coliseum and a couple of tigers) after battling the crowds we found the counter. The going price to reach the Skydeck was $16.50.. (not bad) as we headed over to the lift we were once again over run with pilgrims.. we finally got into the lift, there was a pre-recorded message quoting stats about the building with a turbo winding sound in the background for effects.. It did tell us we were travelling at 9 metres a second .. seconds later the lift doors opened and there it was..... "Skydeck"! As we made our way though the hustle and bustle of the crowd (parting the Christians), we came across a fantasic view of Melbourne (minus the smog), luckly it was a clear day .. The whole deck is just glass from top to bottom, uninterrupted views, even looking out though the glass i did have a few moments of vertigo

well done!
I love my musical table, .. the table was
the first object he used to support himself against.
It was all the sounds it made that gave him interest in standing
he wanted to get closer to it..
A very tired & proud dad with his son
Kade seems to pull this face a bit.. its like an over powered smile...
Gee i wonder if he is gonna be a chef...
the oven door is just another thing he can grab for support..
don't think walking is far away..
he can also see himself in the reflection on the oven door.
in the last week he has discovered the draw..
jamming fingers seems to be all the rage..
Kade loves being outdoors..
he loves feeling textures..
he grabs dried leaves and plays with them & then
decides to crush them and listen to the sound ...
has decided to show us what a show off he can be. One week crawling the next, Up on his feet.
We first saw this little stunt the other morning. he loves the musical sounds that come from his table.. at first he was just trying to reach up & touch the keys & buttons from a crawling position, after he saw us playing with his musical table, he couldn't miss out so he had to go one better..
Lovely! He is beautiful! read more
